Job Summary Title: Temporary Parent Organizer (Associate Level) Division: School Support Office (SSO) Location: School Support Office (SSO) Reports to: Chief of Strategy- Richmond Status: Part-time (~10-15 hours per week) Salary Scale: $31/hour Code: #ZR Position Summary The role of the Parent Organizer is to support the work of parent organizing in developing parent power and amplifying parent voice on critical school reform issues affecting Caliber ChangeMakers Academy, Caliber Beta Academy and through connections with the Contra Costa County Chart Coalition (5C), other similar schools in Contra Costa County. Caliber Beta Academy and other similar charter schools, serving historically and educationally underserved communities of color, face various public and political obstacles, mainly focused on misconceptions about who we are, whom we serve, and why we exist.
