25-26 Associate, Evaluation & Monitoring VISTA at Womankind

Womankind is an NYC-based nonprofit with 40+ years of experience serving pan-Asian immigrant survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. Womankind works to create a future where communities can Rise Above Violence and innovate towards collective well-being and restoration. Through community, residential, and special programs, Womankind offers access to emergency residential housing, crisis counseling, case management, legal assistance, healing groups, and more. In addition to promoting healing and safety through direct service work, Womankind provides community education to promote intervention and prevention of violence on individual and institutional levels.

Our Evaluation and Monitoring program seeks to develop metrics and analytics to support service improvement across all programs and facilitate the delivery of accountability reports to our funders, which the VISTA member will support. The member will play a critical role in reviewing and improving current evaluation methods of Womankind Client Services programs. They will support the building, testing, and application of efficient evaluation frameworks in collaboration with the different program stakeholders. They will also play a crucial role in gathering, organizing, and analyzing collected data.

Member Duties :

  • The Evaluation and Monitoring Associate will assess the current state of evaluation methods within Client Services programs.
  • They will gather information about evaluations from each program that is currently used.
  • They will create a summary document regarding the findings.
  • The member will analyze and review the findings regarding the current evaluation of our programs.
  • The program logic models, the client questionnaires, and other program surveys will be used to inform the initial approach and design of the evaluations.
  • The member will design basic evaluation models for programs based on the work done between 2025 and 2026.
  • The process will need to be documented for sustainability.
