25-26 Afterschool Snack Program Coordinator - Somerville School District : Job Details

Job Goal:The Afterschool Snack Program Coordinator is responsible for the distribution and service of nutritious snacks to high school students. Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Knowledge of Food Safety preferred

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Department of Food and Nutrition Services, assists by the program by:

• Picking up snacks from the Somerville High School kitchen
• Serving snacks to students
• Tallying the total amount of snacks distributed to students each day
• At the end of the month provide the SHS kitchen with the snack menu containing the total number of snacks distributed
• Able to organize, manage, coordinate, implement and oversee snack program
• Able to maintain records
• Prepare clear, concise and comprehensive reports
• Excise sound and independent judgement within general policy guidelines
• Establish and maintain working relationships with other staff
