Northrop Grumman is seeking Principal Engineers. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Plymouth, MN.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Armament Systems team within our Weapon Systems Division.
Basic Qualifications:
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution by summer 2025
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Experience, coursework, or research in additive manufacturing, nanocomposite characterization, or next generation propellant manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications:
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
Experience, coursework, or research in Vibration-Assisted Printing (VAP) additive manufacturing methods
Salary Range: $95,800 - $143,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
