Tanner & Associates is recruiting TWO Medical Affairs Managers for a large pharmaceutical company based in Georgia and the Carolinas. Please send CV to [email protected].

Responsibilities:

• Manage medical affairs and customer relations with key national and regional opinion leaders and centers of influence.
• Support, develop, and deliver regional medical education programs.
• Develop and maintain speaker relationships.
• Support Phase 3b / 4 research trial sites and facilitate investigator-initiated research proposals.
• Provide scientific support at key regional and national congresses.
• Gather and analyze competitive intelligence.
• Respond to unsolicited off-label requests requiring personal communication.
• Support hospital formularies, regional managed care, and government accounts with presentations.
• Support the sales force with medical and scientific expertise as needed.
• Train the regional sales force on medical and scientific product information.
• Manage territory effectively.

Qualifications:

• Terminal Doctorate Degree (Pharm.D., M.D., Ph.D.)
• Experience as a liaison in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Post-graduate teaching and training experience preferred.
• Strong background in scientific methodology, pharmacology, and therapeutics.
• Understanding of clinical research and statistics.
• Ability to travel overnight and drive up to 3 hours.
• Ability to work independently within a home office environment.
