$130,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Role Overview

We seek an Autonomy Engineer with expertise in perception and navigation for autonomous systems. You will focus on advancing methods that enable autonomous platforms to understand and operate in challenging environments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop algorithms to assess environmental conditions and support autonomous decision-making.
  • Design evaluation frameworks to measure perception and navigation system performance.
  • Integrate and analyze multi-sensor data to enhance situational awareness and risk assessment.
  • Create systematic validation approaches for system predictions across diverse scenarios.
  • Collaborate across perception, planning, and controls teams to develop benchmarks and performance metrics.
  • Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industry experience or a Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with autonomous perception, planning, system integration, and reliability evaluation.
  • Experience with simulation tools for autonomy testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with collaborative workflows, version control, automated testing, and cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting test data and optimizing algorithms.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience deploying autonomous systems in real-world environments.
  • Background in building large-scale datasets for evaluation.
  • Understanding of uncertainty modeling in perception.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or research in autonomous systems evaluation.
