1st Shift Picker And Packer/Can - USA Jobs : Job Details

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Shift Pickers and Packers. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking and packing products to ensure timely and accurate shipments. A flexible attitude and a willingness to perform both picking and packing duties are essential, as you will rotate between these tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

• Work in the pick area with a designated cart to scan codes and pick parts from the racks, placing them on the cart.
• Transport the completed cart to the next area for further processing and wait for the next cart to arrive.
• Perform packing duties by scanning order sheets, printing packing slips, and packing products with additional items as specified.
• Place packed boxes on a conveyor for sealing, labeling, and further processing.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in picking and packing tasks.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours per day.
• Conversational English skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to read small print.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous scanner experience.
• Six months of pick/pack experience.
• Familiarity with order picking, pallet jack operation, warehouse packing, packaging, general labor, labeling, and shipping.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong team mentality.

Work Environment:

Our facility is exceptionally clean and temperature-controlled, ensuring a comfortable work environment. You will be standing throughout your shift, but the products are small and light, with a maximum weight of 5 lbs for most items.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.70 - $17.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
