1st Shift Packer and Retail Store Backup - MARTIN's SNACKS : Job Details

Packs bags of finished product into boxes for shipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

• Packs up to 80 bags per minute into boxes.
• Counts number of bags that go into each case.
• Lifts boxes onto conveyors.
• Palletizes boxes onto skid.
• Spot checks seals, weight, code date and overall appearance of finished packages.
• Sorts used cardboard.
• Supplies packing lines with cartons.
• Stickers sale priced items as needed.
• Inspects finished potato chips.
• Assists customers, operates cash register, and prepares daily sales reports upon completion of shift
• Provides cash receipts, credit receipts, and reports to cash office on a daily basis
• Pulls product from the warehouse to keep retail store fully stocked
• Prepares and arranges the pickup of donations and special orders

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or general equivalency diplomas (GED) and;
• Three to six months related experience and/or training;
• Equivalent combination or education and experience.
