Location: Huntington Beach, CAPay: $20.00 per hourShift: Mon - Friday, 5:15am - 2:00pmJob Title: Machine OperatorJob Description:The Machine Operator will operate PVD vacuum coating machines under the supervision of the Production Manager. Responsibilities include setup, monitoring, and basic maintenance of the machines. Tasks involve:Operating and maintaining PVD coating machines according to company specifications.Minimizing equipment downtime through preventative maintenance procedures.Maintaining and updating equipment PM logs.Learning fixturing techniques and orientation requirements for proper PVD processing.Providing training assistance to other employees.Assisting with quality assurance and other technical matters.Product handling, including properly fixturing onto racks.Loading and unloading fixtured components from the coating machine to maintain production flow.Quality control of uncoated and coated parts and deposition processes.Troubleshooting of potential machine failures.Supporting our engineering team.Monitoring and ensuring availability of appropriate supplies of process gases.Raising any machining or quality issues with appropriate supervision or engineering support.Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.Performing additional assignments per supervisor's directionPersonal Attributes/Skills Required:- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding)- Sense of urgency and efficiency- Mechanical aptitude and basic machine shop skills- Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision- Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability- Flexibility and problem-solving skills- Compliance with safety regulations and use of protective equipment- Reliable attendance and punctuality- Willingness to work overtime as neededEnvironmental and Safety Considerations:- Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise- Must follow proper lifting techniquesPandoLogic.
