The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize. The ideal candidate will have the ability to utilize critical thinking skills to identify issues; work independently and as a team member and have knowledge and understanding of truss assembly.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAssembles wood material and other parts into a finished productAbides by production process established for assigned work areaSeeks opportunities for continuous improvement in work areaSafely and effectively operates computer-aided systemsSCOPE(decision making, size of organization, budgetary etc.)All tools and equipment to be used in accordance with manufacturers' recommendationsAbides by safe lifting proceduresReads and interprets product design informationEnsures quality parts and materials are used to assemble productEnsures finished product quality meets expectationsAbility to work on more complicated aspects of assembly processSupports all additional tasks directed by the production managerLearns and understands necessary computer programs to perform job related tasksQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSAdheres to PPE and safety requirements of the production facilityMaintains consistent housekeeping of work areaIs on time with consistent attendance and operates through shift endManages own time clock effectivelyIs a team player and takes direction from production managerIs willing to do what it takes to get the job done safely and efficientlyProactive problem solverFollows instructions, willingness to learn and train when requiredConsistently achieves high quality and volume targets of work areaREQUIRED EDUCATION(degree, licenses, certifications, etc.)Professional behavior in the workplace with good communication skillsWillingness to pursue training for trade knowledge advancementREQUIRED EXPERIENCE(work related, tools/equipment, software, etc.):2 years of carpentry or similar manual labor experienceAbility to use tape measure, framing square, nail/staple gun and hammerAbility to lift 50 lbsMust be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background checkMust be able to prove eligibility to work in the United States40+ hours weekly including up to 2 Saturdays a month as scheduledPulteGroup, Inc. and its affiliates do not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies (collectively, Recruiters ) in response to job postings.
