Purpose:
The Network Engineer plays a key role in designing, supporting, and operating the network infrastructure behind HAEA's private cloud platform. Reporting to the Cloud Platform Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day management of cloud and data center network systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Key responsibilities include network monitoring, incident response, change management, and support for both internal operations and customer engagements.
This position requires hands-on experience with a wide range of network technologies, including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs. Experience in virtualized network environments and modern overlay technologies (e.g., VXLAN, BGP) is highly desirable.

Essential Functions:
Operate and manage the cloud platform portal and associated services
Maintain and monitor data center portal systems and rack space (colo) environments
Perform network traffic analysis, circuit monitoring, and usage tracking
Execute change management processes for network systems
Troubleshoot and document network incidents and outages
Perform capacity planning and resource management for network infrastructure
Design and approve network topology changes and configuration updates
Collaborate with internal teams and respond to customer network inquiries
Support infrastructure expansion and related network projects

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Proven experience managing internet and communication circuits
Hands-on experience in data center server farm network operations
Proficiency in operating various network devices: routers, switches, L4/L7 load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs
Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with network monitoring and performance tuning
Strong motivation to learn and grow in cloud networking
Proactive and collaborative work ethic
Effective communication skills for working with global teams and customers
Preferred requirements:
Experience operating virtualized networks (e.g., vRF, Network Namespaces, Open vSwitch, Linux Bridge)
Hands-on experience with BGP configuration and troubleshooting
Experience in designing and managing VXLAN-based overlay networks
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies; experience with private cloud platforms such as OpenStack is preferred
Salary range: $83,940 to $120,032
