Essential Function
Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for all Primary Duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Job Title: Assistant Manager
Primary Duties
- Brand (30%): Supervise and support associates to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, POGs, marketing, and dress code are met. Act as the main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends.
- People (30%): Engage, train, and develop teams. Recruit and build a diverse network of candidates. Address associate strengths and opportunities through coaching. Maintain positive relations and communication within the team, fostering diversity and inclusion.
- Operations (30%): Ensure execution of company processes, support digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment, manage inventory, payroll, store opening/closing procedures, and follow company directives.
- Safety/Loss Prevention (10%): Maintain a safe environment, protect assets, ensure compliance with policies, and analyze reports to prevent shrinkage and damages.
Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Preferred 3+ years retail/customer service experience
- Preferred 1+ year management experience
- Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Cosmetology license is desirable but not required
