Position Summary...

Develops, communicates, and leverages a strategic vision aligned with company market and local plans and tactics to direct the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in a facility that may present issues such as high turnover, engagement challenges, inexperienced staff, and recruiting difficulties in a competitive market. Responsibilities include ongoing recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, performance evaluation, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset across organizational levels.

Upholds the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with associates, researching issues, leveraging resources for complex requests, reviewing policies, and ensuring responsiveness and resolution. Ensures compliance with policies, manages relationships with officials, maintains safety and quality standards, and oversees asset protection. Initiates community outreach programs, manages media relations, and represents the company externally.

Drives financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, analyzing economic trends, and implementing process improvements. Ensures customer service excellence and manages store standards, including training environments, merchandising, and customer engagement. Develops strategies for workforce attraction, development, and retention, fostering a respectful and ethical workplace culture.

Builds partnerships, supports community involvement, and promotes a culture of belonging and respect. Acts with integrity, prioritizes customer service, and strives for operational excellence through continuous improvement and innovation. Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of general management experience including financial accountability and supervising at least 50 associates, or 4 years of management experience with similar supervisory responsibilities. Additional requirements include successful completion of all job-specific trainings and assessments, with specific background checks for firearm-related facilities. Effective January 26, 2019, all associates must complete required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications...

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, with experience as a Store Manager in various store complexities or specific experience managing a grocery area.
