Develops, communicates, and leverages a strategic vision aligned with company, market, and local plans and tactics to direct the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in a facility that may present issues such as high turnover, significant engagement challenges, inexperienced associates, and recruiting challenges in a highly competitive market. This requires ongoing recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, succession planning, performance evaluation, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset across multiple organizational levels.

Upholds the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, and leveraging resources for complex, time-sensitive requests. Reviews policies and procedures, teaches responsiveness, and drives resolution at managerial levels, proactively seeking associate feedback by meeting in work areas.

Ensures compliance with policies by anticipating challenges and navigating complex environments with high controls. Develops relationships with government officials, holds managers accountable, analyzes reports, monitors asset protection and safety, maintains quality standards, and oversees operational reviews. Implements corrective action plans and guides execution of company programs and initiatives.

Participates in community outreach programs, representing the company in high-profile environments with media attention, fostering community relationships, and supporting corporate sustainability efforts. Drives financial performance by ensuring sales and profit goals are met, controlling expenses, interfacing with market teams, and implementing strategic plans to improve financial metrics.

Ensures sales success by managing external indicators such as merchandising, pricing, stock levels, and economic trends. Oversees store standards, training environments, and store engagement, fostering a high-performance culture and integrating trainees into leadership and store activities.

Develops and implements strategies for attracting and maintaining a skilled, engaged workforce, supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning. Creates an environment of respect and integrity, aligning with company standards and values. Builds partnerships with community stakeholders, sponsors outreach initiatives, and promotes a culture of inclusion and belonging.

Acts with integrity, maintains high ethical standards, and supports Walmart's culture by holding oneself and others accountable. Prioritizes customer service, makes data-driven decisions, and encourages continuous improvement and innovation.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$170,000.00 plus differential, with additional bonuses based on performance and external factors.

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of general management experience, including financial accountability, and 4 years supervising at least 50 nonexempt and 5 exempt associates, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination; OR 4 years of management experience with similar supervisory responsibilities. Additional requirements include successful completion of all job-related trainings and assessments, including Academy trainings and Open Door policies. For facilities selling firearms, a successful firearms-specific CBC and training are required. For ammo-only facilities, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be necessary.

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, plus experience as a Store Manager in a low or medium complex store, or 2 years as a Store Manager in a high-volume retail store, particularly in grocery operations.
