Position Summary...

Develops, communicates, and leverages a strategic vision aligned with company market and local plans and tactics to direct the management team and management and hourly associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates, addressing issues such as high turnover, engagement challenges, inexperienced staff, and recruiting difficulties in a competitive market. Responsibilities include ongoing recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, succession planning, performance evaluation, recognition, and fostering a sense of belonging across organizational levels.

Upholds the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with associates, researching issues, reviewing policies, and ensuring responsiveness and resolution. Ensures compliance with policies and develops relationships with officials, maintains safety and quality standards, and oversees safety and operational reviews. Participates in community outreach and manages media relations and company-sponsored programs to enhance community presence.

Drives financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, and analyzing economic trends. Manages store standards, merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory, and sales forecasting. Ensures the success of training environments like the Academy, promotes a high-performance culture, and supports talent development and succession planning.

Develops strategies to attract and retain skilled staff, fosters a respectful and ethical workplace, and builds internal and external partnerships to meet business goals. Promotes a culture of respect, integrity, and service excellence, prioritizing customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree with management experience or equivalent, with specific supervisory experience and accountability. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, store management experience in various store complexities, and experience managing grocery sections.
