Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $286,000.00/yr

As Senior Manager, UX Product Design, you'll lead and grow our Design and Research team, set operational standards, and develop your team. You'll work across functions, contributing your human-centered design expertise to deliver successful products, collaborating with business leaders, and guiding your team as a mentor. About Data Ventures

Data Ventures aims to unlock Walmart's data value by delivering enterprise data products that empower merchants and suppliers to make better decisions. We seek entrepreneurial individuals to define our products from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities include:
  • Define and drive design vision, strategy, and approach, impacting business strategy.
  • Guide your team in designing with appropriate fidelity using frameworks, sketches, diagrams, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional conversations, gather ideas, and rapidly prototype for testing and iteration.
  • Collaborate with Business Strategy, Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and others to translate Walmart's data ecosystem into high-value products.
  • Mentor and lead within the UX Product Design organization, sharing knowledge, best practices, and shaping team culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Architecture, User Experience, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • 8+ years of product design experience, with 3+ years in leadership.
  • A portfolio of shipped design work, preferably in complex industries like finance, healthcare, or enterprise data.
  • Deep understanding of design thinking and human-centered design methodologies.
  • Proven ability to turn ambiguity into effective design solutions.
  • Expertise in visualization, rapid prototyping, and influencing product/business direction.

Additional Compensation

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's in relevant field + 5 years' experience. Option 2: 7+ years' experience. 2 years supervisory experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Design certification, master's degrees, industry experience, and expertise in accessibility standards and inclusive design.

  • San Bruno, CA: $143,000-$286,000
  • Bentonville, AR: $110,000-$220,000
Additional Compensation

Includes performance bonuses, stock options, and other incentives.
