Position Summary...What you'll do...Senior Data Scientist – Advanced Measurement MethodologyWalmart Connect is key to Walmart's growth strategy. Walmart has built a ~$3 billion dollar closed loop, in-house advertising business that is a robust, true omnichannel, media services division with WMC. We partner closely with brands on strategies and solutions that harness Walmart's unparalleled omnichannel influence. We deliver relevant retail ads and experiences that connect our customers with the brands and products they love. And we use Walmart's proprietary online and in-store data, encompassing 95% of American households, to measure campaign-correlated sales on our site and in our stores.About the role:A passionate and innovative leader with deep expertise in media analytics and measurement. We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist on Advanced Measurement Methodology to shape the future of our organization through data driven insights with solid methodology foundation.Location: San Bruno, CA; Bentonville, AR;Responsibilities

• Perform as a measurement thought leader with an advanced understanding of media mix modeling, multi touch attribution, ghost ads, randomized control testing and other incrementality solutions for both online and in-store/offline channels.
• Research and develop cutting-edge media measurement solutions using advanced statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Research and review measurement products across industry vendors and media channels.
• Perform hands-on modeling and ad-hoc analyses using SQL & Python.
• Present measurement insights to stakeholders and explain complex modeling approaches in simple terms and develop compelling narratives that connect modeling results with business problems.
• Build and enhance models to determine the impact of marketing tactics and optimal levels of media budgets.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline data science solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Operations Research, or related fields.
• xxxx+ years of relevant industry experience in positions with a focus on statistics, data science, measurement, marketing strategy & analytics.
• Experienced in building marketing mix, multi-touch attribution models and advanced testing solutions.
• Proficient coding skills (Python/SQL), data visualization and database knowledge.
• Extensive experience with predictive and machine learning modeling algorithms.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills that provides insight for business stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, including managing technical resources and multiple priorities & milestones.
• Proven experience and a passion for working in a fast-paced agile environment.
• A collaborative mindset and sense of curiosity.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, or related field.
• Experience with A/B testing, causal modeling, and survey design/analysis.
• Experience with complete online and in-store media tactics portfolio.
• Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience with advertising technology platforms.
