Job Location : Dahlgren,VA, USA
The Laboratory IT Specialist provides planning, design, architecture and support for the lab's infrastructure network. The Laboratory IT Specialist evaluates products and provides recommendations on their suitability for the IWSL's network environment. The Laboratory IT Specialist must be self-motivated and able to work independently. The Laboratory IT Specialist will support Information Assurance (IA) projects involving all phases of information assurance related to network operations. The position is not covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) Davis Bacon Act (DBA), or union.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance: DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Additional Qualifying Factors: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
Salary: $39+/hourly DOE
