MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or at least two (2) years' on-the-job experience in the home improvement construction business (management experience ).
  • Proven experience as an operations Manager or in a similar leadership role.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations for our growth orientated operations covering the South Miami to Key West. This position is responsible for project management related to the sale and installation of roofing, window, and door projects. The incumbent will have strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a strategic mindset to ensure efficiency and success across our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales and installation process by maintaining supervision of all jobs in progress from start to finish.
  • Oversee scheduling, quality/customer satisfaction, materials management, purchasing and service, warehouse operations and general day-to-day logistics and operations.
  • Oversee sub-contractors to ensure that quality and consistency of workmanship meets Company quality standards.
  • Review, visit and inspect jobs in progress to ensure customer satisfaction and quality
  • Supervise measure technician to ensure accurate final measures of product prior to ordering.
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and statistics.
  • Recruit, sign on and train sub-contractors.
  • Resolve any customer disputes on work in progress and completed jobs according to Company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct customer calls as needed.
  • Settle customer issues using individual discretion up to the settlement authority level as assigned.
  • Verify and approve payment for all contractor labor bills.
  • Consult with Orlando and/or Tampa office as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Min Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or at least two (2) years' on-the-job experience in the home improvement construction business (management experience ).
  • Proven experience as an operations Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Must exhibit strong project management skills and be able to multitask, managing multiple customer issues at one time.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in residential home improvements, preferably windows, doors, and roofing.
  • Microsoft Office and CRM computer experience
  • Results oriented individual with strong leadership skills.
  • Flexibility, creativity, strong project, and time management skills
  • Employee training and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including presentation skills.
  • Must have strong communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and experience applying the Florida Building Code to residential exterior remodeling is a plus.
