*Healthcare Consultant II - Texas Star Kids (Arlington, Dallas) - A-Line Staffing Solutions : Job Details

Facilitates appropriate member physical health and behavioral healthcare through assessment and care planning. Coordinates with providers and wraps around necessary psycho-social services. Conducts comprehensive assessments of referred members' needs and approaches case resolution. Performs crisis intervention and provides follow-up to ensure appropriate treatment. Consults with supervisors and medical directors to address barriers to care. Identifies and escalates quality of care issues through proper channels. Utilizes motivational interviewing skills to enhance member engagement. Develops and monitors plans of care in collaboration with the member and care team. Critical Information 75% travel required to meet members in Tarrant or Dallas counties. Experience in direct clinical practice is required post master's degree. Must hold an unencumbered Behavioral Health clinical license in the state of Texas.
