Role Summary
The General Manager leads the individual branch, overseeing store activities to ensure safe, professional, and profitable operations. Responsible for meeting company objectives and policies.
This is an in-person position at the specified location. You must be over 21 years old.
Principal Responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain customers
- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutes
- Implement sales and marketing programs
- Review financial statements and store reports
- Maintain merchandise availability
- Manage inventory and cash assets
- Meet sales and revenue targets
- Implement growth plans
- Manage staff: scheduling, performance, discipline, and training
- Ensure a safe, clean environment for customers and staff
Requirements
- Combination of education and experience, e.g., Associate or Bachelor's in business, marketing, or management
- At least 2 years in retail or customer service roles
Physical Requirements
- Lifting/moving merchandise (50-300 lbs)
- Stooping, bending, reaching
- Traveling multiple flights of stairs with equipment
- Prolonged standing and driving
- Work in various weather conditions
