Senior Engineer to design and implement high-performance digital systems using VHDL. This role
involves FPGA-based design, validation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design, development, and optimization of digital circuits/systems using VHDL.
- Program in VHDL to develop firmware which is used in the hardware design process
- Verify and validate designs through simulations and testing.
- Collaborate with architects, hardware, and software teams to define requirements and solutions.
- Debug and optimize FPGA hardware/software interactions.
- Document design processes and results.
- Plan and manage development schedules and resources.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement of methods, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- 8–15 years of digital design experience with FPGA projects.
- Experience developing firmware
- Proficiency in VHDL and FPGA design tools (Xilinx, Altera).
- Experience with PCIe, Ethernet (1G/10G), TSN, and system-level design/verification.
- Strong knowledge of FPGA architectures, high-speed design, and DO-254 certification processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Verilog, UVM, and embedded C/C++ designs is preferred
