Director of Property Management - Commercial & Multi-Family Properties

Barbat Holdings is hiring a strategic leader with extensive experience in property management to oversee all aspects of tenant relations, financial performance, and maintenance operations across a diverse real estate portfolio.

  • Position: Director of Property Management
  • Location:Barbat Holdings– West Bloomfield, MI
  • Compensation:$80,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience)
  • Schedule:Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (Onsite, In-Person Role)

Barbat Holdings is a real estate investment and management corporation. We are seeking ahighly experiencedDirector of Property Managementto oversee our portfolio ofcommercial and multi-family properties. This is a full-time, onsite position based at our corporate office inWest Bloomfield, MI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee entire property management division.
  • Responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, capital projects, and long-term asset performance.
  • Make policy and procedural decisions for all properties.
  • Have a complete understanding of investment analysis, lease structuring, and portfolio growth.
  • Represent ownership in vendor/contractor negotiations and legal/compliance matters.
  • Lead a supporting team in their day-to-day operations.
  • Manage tenant communications, lease agreements, renewals, and rent collection.
  • Follow up on scheduled maintenance, repairs, and vendor services.
  • Monitor property budgets, approve invoices, and control operational costs.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and occupancy summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Support capital improvement projects and track timelines/budgets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum5 years of experiencein bothcommercialandmulti-family property management.
  • Strong knowledge of leasing, budgeting, and property maintenance protocols.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with property management software (RentManager) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
  • Professional, responsive, and tenant-focused.
