Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for plant machinery and team development? We’re looking for a Workshop Manager to take charge of our Bedford Depot, ensuring our fleet is safe, reliable, and ready to roll.

• Leading a skilled team of Fitters and Yard Staff to deliver top-notch maintenance and repairs.
• Overseeing PDI’s, LOLER inspections, servicing, and damage repairs.
• Driving workshop productivity and technical excellence across two sites.
• Managing stock levels and ensuring machines are hire-ready.
• Promoting a strong Health & Safety culture through 5S auditing.
• Deputising for the Depot Manager when needed.

• Industry qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance).
• Solid experience with plant machinery and vehicle repairs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A full UK driving licence (max 3 points).
• A proactive, resilient, and problem-solving mindset.
