Warehouse Shift Manager – Operations (Permanent, Full-Time)Location: Central ScotlandSalary: Competitive + BenefitsRole Type: Full time, Permanent I am currently supporting a well-established and growing organisation who are looking to appoint a Shift Manager to join their operational team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience leading teams in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, logistics, or similar environment.You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your shift, ensuring staff are supported, workloads are well-organised, and all goods are processed accurately, efficiently and safely. This role would suit someone who enjoys leading from the front and driving performance, while maintaining a positive and professional working environment.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Team Leaders and operational staff during your shift
• Oversee the smooth movement, handling and dispatch of goods
• Ensure high levels of accuracy, productivity and customer service
• Support the planning and allocation of staff, vehicles and equipment
• Liaise with internal departments and external partners to maintain service levels
• Ensure Health & Safety and compliance procedures are followed at all times
• Identify training needs and support staff development
• Maintain standards of housekeeping and ensure the site is safe and well-presented
• Complete shift-related reporting, documentation and incident logs when required

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in warehouse, logistics or operations leadership
• Confident managing teams and coordinating daily workflow
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Able to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Comfortable working shifts (rotating shifts or fixed nights/days depending on preference)
