Trainee Field Support Engineer (Mobile Role )Location: Various sites across the UKType: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: £25,000 Start Date: ASAPPertemps are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading UK-based power solutions company for a unique opportunity that combines delivery driving with hands-on technical support — perfect for someone looking to build a long-term career in field service engineering.We’re looking for a practical, hands-on individual to support a busy team of Field Service Engineers. You’ll be out on the road delivering parts and equipment as well as getting involved on-site  and assisting with the servicing and testing of diesel generators.This role offers a clear path to becoming a fully trained Field Service Engineer in around five years’ time. You’ll gain real-world experience, technical exposure, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking team.What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering tools, parts and equipment to engineers across the region
• Assisting engineers on site with servicing, testing and general maintenance
• Supporting the workshop team with parts handling and logistics
• Ensuring your delivery van is kept clean, roadworthy, and ready for action
• Completing basic paperwork and delivery logs
• Acting as a helpful, professional representative of the business
• Following all health & safety protocols to keep yourself and others safe

What We’re Looking ForEssential:

• Full UK driving licence (with 3 points or less)
• A practical mindset – not afraid to get stuck in
• Friendly, positive, and reliable attitude
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Eagerness to learn and grow into a technical role

Desirable:

• Experience in a delivery or driving role
• Interest in mechanics, electrical work or engineering
• Any technical training, certifications, or qualifications
