Join us as a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant in Wakefield (WF2). In this role, your day will start at 8:45am and finish at 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, supporting pupils who benefit from structure, compassion and skilled, consistent adult support.

Your Daily Role:

• Working 1:1 with pupils with ASD, ADHD or PMLD

• Supporting learning through visual and practical resources

• Providing personal care and physical support (training a plus)

• Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour plans

• Encouraging social interaction and confidence-building

• Contributing to a warm, positive classroom environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous SEND experience in specialist settings

• Skilled in calm, clear communication

• Confident in using de-escalation strategies

• DBS on the update service or willing to apply

• Moving and handling trained (or willing to undergo training)
