Lead Platform Engineer - Azure Data Services, Terraform, IaC

£Market Rate per day (Inside IR35)

London/Hybrid

My client is an instantly recognisable organisation who urgently require a Lead Platform Engineer with strong experience working with Azure Data Services and strong terraform / IaC skills.Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lead Platform Engineer within Cloud Engineering, with a strong focus on data platforms
• Expertise in Azure Data Services (including provisioning)
• Strong understanding of Azure Data Factory
• Understanding of Data Platform architectures
• Advanced (IaC) Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform)
• Good knowledge of container security and compliance
• Extensive work within data processing frameworks
• Expertise of CI/CD pipelines for containerised workloads and working knowledge of building containers
• Knowledge of cost optimisation techniques within data platforms
• Strong leadership and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Previous insurance / financial services industry experience
• Flexible approach to hybrid working
