Academics Bristol is seeking a talented and inspirational Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join a welcoming, compassionate and diverse school for children aged 4-11in Easton, Bristol. Location: Easton, Bristol (BS5)Salary: £31,650 - £43,607 (M1 - M6)Contract: Permanent, Full-time (32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday)Flexible, part-time and job-share applications will be considered.Start Date: January 2026

About the Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver consistently high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1.
• Inspire and challenge pupils of all abilities to achieve their very best.
• Support pupils from a range of backgrounds, including those with SEND, pupil premium and high-attaining learners.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of an engaging and inclusive curriculum.
• Play an active role in wider school life, supporting enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to foster strong, positive relationships.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who is:

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in Key Stage 1.
• Skilled at delivering engaging and effective lessons with excellent subject knowledge.
• Confident in supporting diverse groups of learners to make progress.
• A strong communicator who can motivate pupils and colleagues alike.
• Committed to professional development, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
• Passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion, recognising the value of our multicultural school community.

Teachers on the Upper Pay Scale will also demonstrate a sustained contribution to the wider school, influencing colleagues and driving consistently high expectations.
