Purpose:
Reporting into the Vice-President of External Engagement, you will be responsible for leading, supporting and guiding the Brand and Communications teams during an exciting rollout of a refreshed brand visual identity and narrative
- Rollout of a refreshed brand visual identity and narrative: drive engagement and advocacy of the universities brand across channels to support recruitment.
- Impactful CRM customer journeys and conversion marketing to potential students and offer holders.
- Advertising campaigns that deliver excellent ROI
- Engaging social media content, and appealing and compliant copy for our prospectuses and marketing collateral
Responsibilities:
- Manage, motivate and coach teams of high performing and highly skilled marketing, brand, CRM, design and social media professionals. Ensure team members perform at a consistently high level and achieve that deliver on strategic objectives.
- Lead the rollout of a refreshed brand framework for the universities that includes an updated visual identity and new brand narrative.
- Work with the Brand team and colleagues across the organisation to ensure a smooth and planned transition.
- Secure university wide buy-in for the brand refresh by building positive and constructive relationships with key internal stakeholders and working closely with the Director of Communications to deliver a successful communications and engagement strategy.
- Ensure colleagues have the tools and guidance they need to make effective use of the refreshed brand.
- Oversee the marketing elements of our Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution. Provide strategic advice and support on the future roadmap for CRM journeys and content.
- Support the Head of Marketing and colleagues in measuring key performance metrics across channels ensuring the student applicant journey and experience is optimised.
- Work closely with the Strategic Communications to ensure the delivery of consistent brand narrative and message across all channels.
- Develop and grow partnerships with supplier agencies ensuring value for money.
- Build positive relationships with the wider teams
- Attend graduation ceremonies and three open days for prospective students
Your Experience:
- Experience of managing brand in a complex organisation, with the ability and experience of rolling out a brand refresh
- Extensive experience in High Education marketing leadership at a Senior level
- Hands on experience in developing and implementing CRM strategies that drive conversation through all customer channels
- The ability to write strategies, business cases and marketing plans to present to Senior Management
