HR Systems/Payroll Implementation Specalist - Venn Group : Job Details

The West of England Combined Authority are currently recruiting for a HR Systems/Payroll Implementation Specialist to support in implementing a new payroll provider.

Job: HR Systems/Payroll Implementation Specialist 

Duration: 4-month contract

Rate: £560.25 to 684.75 per day via Umbrella Company, Inside IR35

Site presence: Hybrid – 2/3 days per week onsite

Experience/Requirement

• Previous experience of implementing payroll systems
• Previously migrated an outsourced payroll between two providers, ideally in a short time frame and mid-financial year
• Full understanding of payroll processing and set up, including interdependencies with HMRC and (ideally local government) pension arrangements
• Understanding of contractual arrangements with payroll providers, SLA's and licensing agreements
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Knowledge of year end statutory reporting requirements database configuration 
• iTrent experience would be a real advantage, but above all you must understand what’s required for a successful payroll transfer, including data migration and parallel runs
