We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team in Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, particularly those with complex needs and challenging behaviour.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading targeted interventions for individuals or small groups to support both learning and emotional development.
  • Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored support activities.
  • Tracking pupil progress and adjusting strategies to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Taking part in training and development to grow your skills and contribute to wider school initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (O’ Levels accepted), with a solid educational background across subjects.
  • HLTA status or equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • A good understanding of the national curriculum and relevant learning programmes.
  • Familiarity with key policies, codes of practice, and legislation.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and promoting inclusive, child-centred learning.
  • A strong commitment to equality and inclusion.
