Audit Senior - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be working with a prestigious and reputable Accountancy Firm in Sheffield as they look to bring in a new Audit Senior into the team.

We are keen to hear from newly qualified individuals from the profession who are looking for a new challenge in a supportive and progressive environment. The complexity of work will depend upon how much experience you have developed to date, but you can expect to be involved in the following tasks:

• Planning audit engagements and leading onsite teams 
• Supporting with the preparation of client accounts and drafting tax computations 
• Liaising with clients to resolve any queries, escalating more complex matters to managers or partners
• Reviewing team members' work before passing completed file to manager
• Coaching more junior members of the team and providing feedback on the quality of their work and performance
• Controlling assignment time in line with pre-determined budgets

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experiences: - 

• Experience of undertaking statutory audits in an accountancy practice (3-5 years experience)
• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA
• Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
• Client facing experience
• Strong IT skills
