Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You'll Be Doing* Operate front-end loaders to transport and load raw materials safely and efficiently* Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks* Communicate with team members to coordinate material movement and ensure production flow* Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with safety standards* Assist with other quarry operations as needed to support production goalsWhat Are We Looking For* Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a production environment* Strong awareness of safety protocols and commitment to safe work practices* Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team setting* Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment maintenance* Reliable attendance and adaptability to changing work prioritiesConditions of Employment* Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testingWork Environment* Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level* Night shiftWhat We Offer* $26.15 per hour* Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension* Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
