Our client, a leading technology and data infrastructure organization, is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join their team. As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be part of the Construction and Engineering Department supporting large-scale datacenter development projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Construction Manager Location: Boydton, VA Pay Range: $76 - $83/hourly What's the Job? Oversee on-site electrical engineering and project management activities during the construction of a multi-year datacenter campus. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and address potential concerns. Collaborate closely with client site personnel and attend quality assurance and milestone review meetings. Review construction drawings, specifications, and commissioning documents for technical accuracy and compliance. Support submittal reviews, RFI responses, and oversee commissioning activities to ensure seamless project execution. What's Needed? Minimum of 8 years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 5 years specific to datacenter electrical projects. Experience reviewing construction drawings, project specifications, and equipment submittals. Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, distribution, backup power, and electrical monitoring systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical documents. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. What's in it for me?
