We are looking for aProduct Ownerto oversee the development of products from start to finish to ensure they meet clients' needs and preferences. Their main duties include determining the overall vision of products, managing various backlog items, and deciding which features each product will have according to clients' preferences. The Product Owner will work with various product, project and operations teams simultaneously and must be able to foster strong relationships via delivery on commitments and open communication. This position will be acontractandonsite in Miramar, FL.
Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
What You'll Do
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for a portfolio of guest service and housekeeping products
Partner closely with guest experience, housekeeping, and hotel operations teams to identify unmet needs and innovation opportunities
Measure and observe operational satisfaction levels to ascertain and implement service improvement alternatives
Prioritize features, manage agile backlogs, and work with development and design teams to deliver scalable, guest-centric solutions
Define KPIs and analytics tools to empower operations teams with real-time insights
Leverage data to identify inefficiencies, trends, and opportunities across systems
Define product strategy and roadmaps to support capital allocation and growth planning
Monitor product performance, guest feedback, and revenue metrics to continuously iterate and optimize
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
1-3+ years of experience in a Product Owner role or similar
Familiarity with scrum and agile software development methodologies
Experience working with cross-functional technology teams, including project management, engineering, architecture, and cybersecurity
Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal initiative
Proficiency in Agile methodologies, product road mapping tools (e.g., Jira), and user story writing
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and customer behavior
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into actionable insights for stakeholders
Preferred:
Strong background in the hospitality or travel industries with a focus on improving operational products
Proficiency in the use of analytic tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Working knowledge of product development architecture
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $40.00-$45.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
