The City University of New York's Office of K16 Initiatives seeks a Dual Enrollment Manager who will serve as a thought partner, case manager, and program strategist to a small portfolio of the CUNY Early College Network school and their CUNY campus partners. In addition, the Dual Enrollment Manager will be expected to design supportive resources and guidance that will help a subset of schools meet their continuous improvement goals. Reporting to the Associate Director for Data and Performance, the Dual Enrollment Managers will collaborate with team members and contribute to the overall capacity of the CUNY Early College Team, being tapped to support schools across the entire network when appropriate. As a member of the Team, the Dual Enrollment Managers will help shape priorities and be given ample opportunity for growth and development.
MISSION
CUNY's Office of K16 Initiatives creates innovative pathways for young New Yorkers to envision and achieve success, by engaging strategic partners in confronting systemic educational inequities. CUNY K16 Initiatives leads and coordinates CUNY's partnership with New York City Public Schools (NYCPS), including programs and direct services reaching over 100,000 NYCPS students annually. CUNY and New York City Public Schools – the two largest education systems of their kind in the country – are deeply connected by the students they serve and K16 Initiatives serves as a vital bridge, leveraging policy development and service delivery to address key drivers of student success. With a focus on equity, access, and economic mobility, K16 Initiatives harnesses unique CUNY resources – including students and curriculum – at scale to achieve shared goals.
The Dual Enrollment Manager will:
Partnership Management
Build bridges across high school and campus-based staff to encourage knowledge sharing, reduce silos, and drive aligned efforts toward network goals
Maintain regular touchpoints with and hold working sessions with high-priority CUNY Early College schools to identify challenges, share insights, and co-develop solutions that drive continuous improvement
Provide timely intervention and support for CUNY Early College schools experiencing programmatic challenges
Create high-quality, user-friendly resources, guides, and templates tailored to the needs of schools across the network that are aligned with network standards and best practices
Support network policies and protocols that enhance the success of partnerships, proactively address potential barriers, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Support school action plans and connect campus teams with EC Central staff who are best positioned to resolve issues
Stakeholder Engagement
Facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices across the network through relaying information learned through stakeholder meetings, partnership meetings, district meetings, etc. with the CUNY Early College team
Work with partnership leadership teams (i.e. liaisons, campus leadership, principals and high school leadership) to support student engagement and enrollment effort
College Access & Success
Encourage networking opportunities for school-based staff and CUNY admissions
Identify strategic partnerships with college access and success organizations, including CUNY Admissions, CARA, CACNY, NACEP, etc.
Assist in development of comprehensive CUNY Early College resources to ensure students are guided through each stage of the CUNY application and enrollment process
Supporting Partnerships
Help grow and maintain a centralized resource hub to support and strengthen high school and campus partnerships
Facilitate relationship building work between high school and campus partners to ensure communication and mission alignment between stakeholders
Other Duties
Attend staff meetings and trainings as required
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree and 3-5 years related experience required
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse community of students, faculty, staff, and external partners
Excellent writing, presentation, and group facilitation skills
Experience coordinating college access events for professional staff
Experience with data collection and analysis to support effective program evaluation
Experience managing contracts and budgets
Strong background in resource creation for effective program implementation
Proficient using Google and Microsoft Applications
Preferred Qualifications
A demonstrated commitment to preparing students at Title I public high schools to succeed in college
Familiarity with higher education, including an understanding of college and career readiness standards, skills, and practices
Experience working across schools, organizations, or teams in support of a larger mission
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This position is based in a professional office environment and follows a hybrid work schedule: 70% in-person (7 days) and 30% remote (3 days) during each two-week payroll cycle
A laptop and other necessary equipment may be provided to support remote work
While performing these duties, the employee may be required to:

Occasionally lift or move items up to 20 pounds
