Health Saviours is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Location: Utica, NY 13502

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Rotating (12-hour variable shifts – must be willing to work days & nights)

Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 3+ years NICU experience (Level II or III required; Level III preferred)
• Certifications:
  • BLS (required at submission)
  • NRP (required at submission)
  • PALS & STABLE (required prior to start; if not current, candidate must agree to obtain)
• Other:
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must adhere to 75-mile radius rule (locals accepted at adjusted local rate)

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based care to critically ill and premature neonates.
• Monitor and manage ventilators, IV lines, and specialized NICU equipment.
• Support neonatal resuscitation and stabilization as needed.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and NICU team.
• Educate and support parents/families during hospitalization.
• Accurately chart patient care in Epic.
• Float as required to Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, or other adult units for “helping hands” support (within scope).
