We are proudly building a work environment where you can bring your authentic self to work.Due to the nature of our project work, we can only consider candidates with a current US Citizenship.Day to Day Responsibilities--------------Lead proposal/business capture teams to shape, write and review proposals--------------Interface with customers, including travel, to shape marketing efforts and effectively communicate technical results----------------Investigate fundamental topics in a scientific field such as signal processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, physics and/or math --------------Lead teams of two or more Scientists, Engineers, and Programmers, including identifying, assigning, and completing research and development tasks appropriate to each member of the team--------------Provide strategic leadership role in working with a project / proposal team to identify the research approach, hypotheses to be tested, and program milestones to achieve all program objectives--------------Facilitate collaboration in large, complex teams to ensure resulting technology (algorithms, software, frameworks) achieves all research objectives--------------Select, improve, or design computational models--------------Identify relevant research approaches, hypotheses to be tested, and program milestones to achieve all program objectives with project and/or proposal teams--------------Provide scientific, technical and software design support to projects and proposals--------------Design statistically valid experiments to test and validate resulting computational models--------------Provide leadership and guidance in the analysis of results of the experiments using sound scientific principles--------------Design experiments to test and validate computational models--------------Establish and maintain a professional rapport with all project stakeholders (internal and external)--------------Additional project and proposal duties as assignedAdditional ResponsibilitiesOccasional travel to attend and present at customer meetings and essential industry conferencesPrepare technical briefing materials/summarize technical work and progress of projectsCollaborate with company leadership and senior technical staff to conduct proposal research and proposal writingPublish technical reports based on original or improved algorithms created to solve the application challengesMaintain high standards at work, continuously looking for solutions to improve processes and productsDevelop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside and outside the organization to achieve Boston Fusion business goalsDemonstrate personal accountability, effective work habits, integrity, and ethical behavior that align with Boston Fusion corporate valuesMay perform other duties as requiredThis Job is Right for You if you Have:--------------Master's degree in cognitive sciences, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field, with 13+ years of experience; PhD with 10+ years of experience--------------Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills--------------Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively--------------Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills--------------Ability to work both collaboratively and independentlyDemonstrates strong competency in every category and a mastery of at least one category--------------Demonstrated competency in AI/ML, and/or signal processing and/or human-machine systems, and/or cognitive sciences, or social sciences, and/or computer vision, or other technical discipline--------------Experience implementing modeling and analysis techniques, including machine learning and probabilistic modelling etc--------------Understanding of mathematical principles which underlie these modeling methods--------------Experience in implementing algorithms in standard programming languages such as Python, Java, C++--------------Experience in using sound software development techniques, e.g., testing, documentation, source controlPreferred Technical QualificationsClassical applied probabilistic, mathematical, and/or artificial intelligence methods (planning, searching, logic, uncertain knowledge, probabilistic reasoning, natural language processing)Radar signal processing techniquesMachine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras) and concepts (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, active, and reinforcement learning;
