We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Product Documentation Manager to oversee all engineering product documentation, including drawings, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Bills of Materials (BOMs). The ideal candidate will have direct experience with Windchill PLM and a passion for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the creation, revision, and maintenance of engineering documentation (drawings, ECNs, BOMs) using Windchill PLM.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, ISO/ASME documentation practices, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to gather, review, and update technical documents to align with design and project requirements.
  • Develop and implement documentation workflows that optimize efficiency, minimize errors, and maximize productivity.
  • Maintain the Windchill PLM system, ensuring data integrity, smooth operation, and troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on documentation standards, Windchill usage, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards and regulations.
  • Communicate documentation changes and updates clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Generate documentation-related reports for management review.

What You Need includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering documentation management or product lifecycle management (PLM).
  • Hands-on experience with Windchill PLM.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PCAD, Altium) and understanding of integrations with PLM systems.
  • Familiarity with documentation standards and practices (ISO, ASME).
  • Strong knowledge of Engineering Change Control processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience training and mentoring team members.

Our good faith estimate for the salary for this position is $90,000-$110,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.
