Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Programmer Analyst to support a dynamic Enterprise Data Analytics team. This group is advancing how data is accessed, trusted, and applied to deliver faster, deeper insights across the organization. The Programmer Analyst will play a key role in designing and maintaining the workflows, algorithms, and applications that form the backbone of enterprise analytics solutions. This includes developing complex SQL queries, building advanced Power BI solutions, integrating data from diverse sources, and ensuring secure, scalable platforms that drive data-informed decision making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, scripts, and views to integrate, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Build advanced Power BI queries using DAX to support visualization and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized data-driven solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Implement and manage security measures and access controls within data platforms to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Integrate data virtualization platforms with BI tools, ETL workflows, and cloud ecosystems to enable scalable analytics.
• Develop, document, and maintain custom data-driven applications and workflows.
• Manage source code repositories (GIT/GitHub) and support CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation of processes, solutions, and workflows.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience creating SQL database queries, working with schemas, and managing SQL databases.
• Extensive experience in software design and development, including software and algorithm development.
• Strong background in Power BI development, with advanced proficiency in DAX.
• Significant experience working with APIs, RESTful services, and systems integrations.
• Proven ability to prepare and maintain detailed software documentation.
• Practical experience using the Power BI REST API and integrating deployments into CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of source control using GIT or GitHub.
• Due to the nature of the work, an Interim clearance is required (active Secret clearance is a plus).
