About The Campaign Finance Board
The Campaign Finance Board is a nonpartisan, independent city agency that empowers New Yorkers to have a greater impact on their elections. Our mission is to make local democracy more open, transparent, and equitable by removing barriers to participation.
We make it easier for New Yorkers to vote, meaningfully support candidates for city office, and run for office themselves. NYC Votes, our voter engagement initiative, shares trustworthy election information and helps New Yorkers make a voting plan. We publish the citywide Voter Guide, which delivers candidate information directly to voters doors. Our public matching funds program supports small contributions, enabling regular people to run for office without relying solely on wealthy donors. We also promote transparency in campaign finance by revealing how candidates raise and spend money.
We believe that when every New Yorker can participate meaningfully in elections, candidates will better reflect their communities, leaders will be more accountable, and democracy will be stronger.
The Office of People Operations provides HR solutions and oversees compliance, payroll, and labor relations. The Compliance Specialist reports to the Deputy Chief People Officer of Compliance, Payroll & Labor Relations and supports human capital strategies within the agency.
