Senior Consultants are integral members of Guidehouse teams and contribute to all levels of the consulting process. Life Sciences Senior Consultants are responsible for the day-to-day management of consulting assignments and have regular interactions with clients. Your specific responsibilities include: analyzing scientific, clinical, financial and strategic information to discern the business implications of new technologies and emerging trends; conducting primary research interviews with clinicians, thought leaders, and executives in the life sciences industry and related fields; managing and mentoring junior staff; and preparing and presenting written reports to senior management and clients.

As Senior Consultants hone their project management skills and ability to manage multiple work streams, they progress to the position of Managing Consultant.
Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
Minimum Degree Status: Advanced degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited advanced degree program (MBA, MD, PharmD, or PhD) through Fall of 2025 and graduate by Summer 2026)
PhDs currently completing Postdoctoral research fellowship are also eligible for consideration
Prior work experience in the life sciences and/or consulting industries
Demonstrated interest in Life Sciences consulting
Critical thinking, creativity, and strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to supervise, mentor, and coach team members
Ability to grasp clinical and business implications of technically complex products and services
Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams
Willingness and ability to travel and work overtime when required
