We're looking for a Software Engineer - Data to join a small and highly collaborative NYC based engineering team.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with fellow engineers and product managers to solve complex data challenges across the business.
• Design and build robust data pipelines, tools, and systems that support both internal teams and small business partners, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Take ownership of high-impact projects focused on improving data quality, enhancing data accessibility, and driving insights for better business decisions.
• Influence our data strategy, advocate for best practices in data engineering, and explore new technologies to stay at the cutting edge.

What makes you a great fit:

• You have 5+ years of experience in designing and building scalable data infrastructure, including ETL pipelines, data lakes, or data warehouses.
• You thrive in cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• You prioritize data integrity, performance, and automation, and have experience with testing practices like unit tests and test-driven development.
• You are comfortable with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and modern engineering practices (e.g., CI/CD, infrastructure as code).
• You approach data problems thoughtfully, value simplicity, and can clearly articulate the trade-offs in your technical decisions.
