Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Python Data Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines. You will build systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics at an enterprise scale, transforming raw cyber data into usable formats for analysts and data scientists. Collaboration across teams and educating end users on complex data products are essential aspects of this role. You will analyze data and systems, resolve complex issues, and ensure data is available, accessible, and secure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and operationalize complex data solutions, implement data cleansing and quality improvements.
  • Manage custom codebases and integrate with open-source/vendor data platforms.
  • Analyze complex data sources to determine value and inclusion in analytics.
  • Implement data governance, security, and quality standards.
  • Test data movement, transformation code, and components.
  • Create resilient data pipelines connecting sources to analytics tools.
  • Support platform operations, troubleshoot, and debug production issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience developing, testing, and maintaining complex IT applications and systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, version control (e.g., Git), and familiarity with file formats like JSON and XML.
  • Knowledge of data platforms such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Splunk.
  • Understanding of the ETL pipeline, including API integration, extraction, transformation, and storage.
  • Full Scope Clearance.

Additional desired skills include experience with cloud services (Lambdas, EC2, S3), system requirements analysis, problem-solving, organizational skills, presentation abilities, and teamwork capabilities.
