Job Summary

Oversee the production process to ensure that all products are prepared according to kosher laws and standards which includes verifying meat and ingredients received, turning ovens on, inspecting coolers and kosher sealing the plant on the eve of the Sabbath.

Position Responsibilities

  • Comply with all company safety procedures and complying with all OSHA rules and regulations. (THINK SAFETY FIRST.)
  • Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP) including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming and hygiene.
  • Check in all meat and ingredients entering the plant
  • Turn on all ovens in kosher plant
  • Frequent the kosher plant to understand what is happening in the manufacturing areas and inspect the coolers
  • Open up and kosher seal the kosher plant on the eve of the Sabbath
  • Ensure all proper documentation is completed based on kosher standards
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Position Qualifications

  • Must work onsite at least 3 days per week.
  • You must be a publicly recognized adherent of Orthodox Judaism, with affiliation or standing within the Orthodox Jewish community.
  • Rabbinical education or training from a recognized Orthodox institution

Compensation:

Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
