Job Description Note: This position is open only to City of New York employees serving in the permanent civil service title of Administrative Staff Analyst. The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) is the largest Fire Department in the United States and universally is recognized as the world's busiest and most highly skilled emergency response agency. The Department's main goal is to provide fire protection, emergency medical care, and other critical public safety services to residents and visitors in the five boroughs. The Fire Department, City of New York (FDNY), seeks a full-time Administrative Staff Analyst, Manager of Cases, Data and Metrics, in the Bureau of Investigations and Trials and the Equal Employment Opportunity Office. In this dual role, under general supervision, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment, the incumbent will perform work in support of both the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office and the Bureau of Investigations and Trials (BITS). The incumbent will be responsible for managing two enterprise-level case management systems: the established Dynamics 365 database used by the EEO Office, and the Salesforce database supporting BITS operations. This role requires advanced technical and analytical expertise to maintain, develop, and integrate both platforms, as well as the ability to coordinate with both BITS and EEO attorneys, agency leadership, and IT professionals. The position demands knowledge of system back-end functionality sufficient to translate legal and operational requirements into technical solutions, ensuring that both systems support compliance, oversight, and Court Monitor reporting obligations.

1. A master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management; or in a related area. 18 months of this experience must have been in an executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory capacity. Supervision must have included supervising staff performing professional work in the areas described above; or 2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of professional experience in the areas described in 1 above, including the 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory experience, as described in 1 above.
