As an Iron Pourer, you will be transporting molten metal from furnaces to molds and collecting samples and/or signal workers to sample metal for analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

• Operate forklift. Upon obtaining certification, operate forklift to transport waste and product
• Will operate ladles and hand held controlled mechanisms to pour regulate flow of molten into sand molds to produce castings.
• Transport molten metal from furnaces to molds.
• Accurately read temperature gauges.
• Collect samples and/or signal workers to sample metal for analysis.
• Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner
• Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Starting pay rate $22.81 with a $2.00 shift differential for 2nd
• Standard shift Monday-Friday
• 2nd shift
• Offered Over Time
• Sundays off

All job offers are contingent upon post-hire requirements: successful background check, drug screen/physical, and completion of required paperwork

Required Skills:

• Must be available for weekend and overtime assignments as required.
• Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
• Must be able to discern imperfections, understand quality of repairs of iron holders / ladles.
• Must be able to understand basic addition to tally units per training.
• Must be able to learn job duties and locations from verbal instructions.
