We are looking for Journey Personalities with vibrant energy to help set the tone for the entire day! These team members are the first to welcome guests into the venue and the last to send them off with a smile. Journey Personalities are responsible for creating a fun, upbeat, and engaging atmosphere from the moment guests arrive. Whether greeting guests in the lobby, hyping up the crowd, or mingling throughout the day, this role is all about bringing the vibes and making every moment memorable. Journey Personalities will also take the stage during each awards ceremony to present all awards with energy, excitement, and professionalism. This position requires confidence on the mic, a warm and approachable presence, and a genuine love for connecting with people. If you're quick with small talk, love being around people, and know how to keep the energy high, this is the role for you!Work Details:
- Seasonal employment with Journey Dance Competition Tour, January - June
- Must be available for Mandatory Team Training; Virtual - Jan. 9th-11th; In Person - Jan. 16th-18th
- Must be willing to travel by road or air
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be available from Thursday PM to Sunday PM for travel
- Events may require Thursday PM to Monday AM travel
- Travel from a specified meeting point or airport will be required
- Minimum commitment 6 events or more
- Paid training, travel, double occupancy lodging, and event meals
- Ability to drive is a plus
- Official government ID required
- Background check required
Requirements What Winning Looks Like:
- Load in and load out production equipment and assist set up of stations
- Become familiar with and greet all dancers, studio directors, and choreographers entering the venue
- Present awards on stage with enthusiasm, clarity and accuracy
- Create a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby and throughout the venue
- Have conversations with guests throughout the venue
- Problem solve when guest issues or concerns arise
- Inform Director of any issues or concerns from guests
- Attend to all other duties assigned by the Event Director(s) as needed
Skills Needed to Win:
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
- Comfortable and confident speaking on a microphone in front of large crowds
- Comfortable working and interacting with children
- A sense of humor and the ability to make conversation with many different personalities
- Strong work ethic and the ability to anticipate challenges before they come up
- Ability to take initiative without direction
- Ability to work with others as a team
- Capable of standing for extended periods. Weekend work typically ranges from 30 to 40 hours
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 30 lbs to 50 lbs
- Dance/Entertainment industry background is a plus but not required

Salary Description $400 Daily Rate
