Position Details Posting Summary Position Title Human Resources Generalist - Data Analytics Posting Number AS1007P Subdivision Human Resources Division Finance and Campus Operations Department Human Resources Location Erie, Pa Position Summary Gannon University seeks a Human Resources Generalist - Data Analytics in Erie, PA responsible for supporting the daily functions of Gannon's Human Resources (HR) Department, across multiple HR areas. Specific duties include: (i) managing employment-related data and creating HR reports utilizing the University's HR management system software; (ii) advising on HR topics, including educating peers on the utilization of HR system reporting metrics, specifically with respect to stipend and salary adjustment data; (iii) preparing regulatory reports on OSHA, Form-1095, and BLS topics; (iv) managing the University's leave of absence processes, including processing applications and approval notices, tracking leave time, and determining employees' FMLA eligibility; (v) interpreting and administrating Gannon's HR policies, including with respect to Paid Time Off (PTO) eligibility, as well as assessing and recommending HR process and policy improvements; (vi) conducting background checks and employee eligibility verifications; and (vii) leading new employee orientations, including managing onboarding activities and coordinating Gannon's New Colleague Orientation and The Gannon Experience: Mission & GU+, as well as participating in the planning and execution of HR-sponsored university events. Required Qualifications Must possess a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in a related position in the Human Resources field. Must also have experience with each of the following (experience can be concurrent): (i) 5 years with HRIS platforms (e.g., CEIPAL, Workday, ADP, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, or Colleague) used to manage and analyze employee data, generate reports, and troubleshoot system issues; (ii) 5 years with data analysis and reporting, including data system integrations, data security, and compliance standards, interpreting HR metrics, and generating actionable insights; (iii) 5 years with recruitment and onboarding, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS integration for hiring processes and designing/automating onboarding workflows through HRIS; (iv) 3 years managing performance review cycles and employee feedback systems within HRIS; (v) 2 years with HR Compliance and Regulations, including ensuring HRIS processes align with legal and regulatory requirements; and (vi) 2 years working with cross-functional teams to enhance HRIS processes, including guiding teams through system changes to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
